Kathryn
Hello, I'm Kathryn or Katie, as a lot people know me. Business owner and head planner at Kathryn Leigh Weddings. A total hopeless romantic, and the Monica of my friends. I live in a little village in Leicestershire with my Fiancé, our Beagle Coco and my Stepson (soon to be officially!)
You'll soon find out that I am totally wedding obsessed. There's something truly magical about witnessing two people embark on a journey of love and commitment, surrounded by their loved ones. My favourite part of a wedding day is that moment just as they are about to meet on the aisle. The silence, the nervous laughter, that moment of true emotion.
The meticulous planning, attention to detail, and the thrill of seeing everything come together seamlessly is what fuels my passion for this beautiful industry. Being a part of such a significant milestone in a couple's life is incredibly rewarding, and I am grateful to play a role in making their wedding day truly unforgettable.

1. I am a huge paper fan! You will always find me with a notebook as well as my laptop when it comes to meetings
2. I can’t get through the day without tea or coffee, so I will suggest our meeting place to be Starbucks or Costa. I’m buying!
3. Chocolate forms part of my love language, I just can't choose a favourite
4. My favourite animal is an Elephant. I have one tattooed on my ankle.
5. I love a city break. Rome, Paris & London are some of my favourites
Wedding Planning has been on my radar since I was 16, having had a school friend say to me 'your so organised, you'd make a great Wedding Planner!' One evening on the sofa watching, yet more reruns of Friends episodes, 'the one with Phoebe's Wedding', a little google search took me down a rabbit whole of beautiful weddings. Multiple courses later, here I am.
I have experienced many hours of this beautiful industry having gained experience as a hotel Wedding Coordinator, a venue finding Wedding Planner, a styling assistant for an award winning UK stylist & a florist. Its safe to say I have seen all areas of the wedding world, and all hours of the day and night too!
I believe that your special day should be a true reflection of your style and personality. I am passionate about creating timeless, stylish & elegant weddings. I want your wedding to be truly memorable for the right reasons. I will work with you closely to ensure that your vision is realised. I believe in listening to my couples, being approachable, creating a memorable wedding experience that reflects you. I will spend time getting to know you both during the planning journey, so I can understand exactly how you want your wedding day to look and feel.
I believe in personalising each and every wedding. So I offer a bespoke service tailored to your individual requirements, and will work with you to make sure your day is perfectly yours. I will take the time to get to know you and what makes you happy, as well as finding out what is the most important priority for your big day. I also take into consideration any dislikes you may have when it comes to wedding planning. My goal is to create a unique wedding experience that reflects your individuality.
